I’m interested in projects where concept, play, storytelling and design intersect.
I’m Julie, a Danish Concept & Play Experience Designer working across concept development, interaction design and visual storytelling.

My practice is grounded in the belief that strong ideas emerge through making — by sketching, prototyping and exploring how concepts take shape through images, objects and experiences.

I’m particularly interested in the moment where an abstract idea becomes tangible: a play experience, a visual universe, a format, or a product people can interact with.

ver the past decade, I’ve worked with early-stage concept development across different contexts — from innovation work at LEGO to building my own design practice.

For six years, I was part of LEGO’s Creative Play Lab, developing play concepts and visual directions through user insights, prototyping and cross-functional collaboration.

Alongside this, I’ve built and run my own design brand, working across concept development, product design, visual identity and execution — taking ideas from early exploration to real-world outcomes.
What continues to drive me is shaping ideas into something tangible and meaningful — whether as interactive experiences, visual systems, narrative worlds or physical products.

If you're working on something that could benefit from a strong concept, play perspective or visual language, feel free to get in touch
